Ever since the success of Vikram's 'Deiva Thirumagal', Kollywood grapevine was abuzz that Chiyaan Vikram, AL Vijay and Anushka Shetty will get together to do a project again and even Vikram spoke about it in an interview.
UTV Motion Pictures has now confirmed the name of this film as 'Thaandavam'. This film will see Vikram, Anushka and Amy Jackson in the lead roles with Santhanam providing the comic relief. It may be mentioned that Amy worked with AL Vijay in 'Madrasapattinam'.
The pre-production work is taking place at a brisk pace. Music will be by GV Prakash, camera will be handled by Nirav Shah and editing will be by Antony. Vijay has already finalised the locations to shoot the movie and shooting will commence this December.
This film will release simultaneously in Telugu as well, as 'Deiva Thirumagal' received immense critical appreciation in Andhra Pradesh. 'Thaandavam' will be a 2012 summer release and will go on floors by the end of this year. It will be shot at interesting locales in Chennai, parts of South India, Delhi and the USA.
It will be a sleekly packed action film and with UTV's vigorous marketing activities we can be assured of a sure entertainer which caters to the masses.
