Sasikumar is ready and raring to go with next outing Poraali. Directed by his buddies Samuthirakani, the movie is almost complete and ready for release soon.
Ask Samuthirakani about Poraali, he says, ' Every one of us has to face struggles in life. No one is exception to it. Poraali is about four persons, who have to cross certain hurdles. All of them come together at one point of time. The rest has been told in a convincing and interesting way, or that is what I believe.'
The songs and trailer besides the posters of Sasikumar’s Company Productions Porali, was released in Chennai on Sunday.
'While Easan was about negative shades of the city, Poraali is about its positive side. Though the film is set in the backdrop of struggle of individuals, it is a lively movie which would highlight positive things too.'
'The subject is heavy. But it has been narrated in a lively manner thanks to Samuthirakani. Popular Telugu hero Allari Naresh is playing an important role, while the film marks the comeback of Swathi of Subramanyapuram fame.' Sasikumar plays the lead role along with Swathi and Nivetha. The film has music by Sundar C Babu. Says Sasikumar whose Porali is based on a real-life incident. Plans are on to release the movie by this month-end.'
Sasi says, ' the movie is entertaining and at the same time carry a strong message. Plans are on to release the movie in Telugu too simultaneously'.
