‘Player’ Abhishek rocks action

Abhishek Bachchan despite of his towering physique hasn’t been much of an action freak and it’s seldom that he is seen doing stunts in his films barring ‘Dhoom’ series. But with ‘Players’ he did an exception as he himself performed a death defying stunt for the film while shooting in Russia. And like us you too will be surprised to know that, it was Abhishek who actually designed the stunt for himself.

He revealed the idea of performing the stunt on two trains speeding at 60 miles per hour to the stunt director and choreographer. The idea was immediately turned down as it was too risky regardless of all the safety precautions. Nevertheless Abhishek was convincing enough and hence it was not quite a task for him to get the nod from the concerned people.

The stunt was performed last month in Murmansk. He balanced himself on two speeding trains in a scene which is strikingly similar to the train sequences in ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Robot’.
