Ram Charan - Upasana Engagement at biggest level ever

Ram Charan’s engagement with Upasana Kamineni is done in a grand way. Probably it is the biggest ever engagement in South India. Almost all the top people from AP were at the venue to bless the soon to be wedded couple. This is going to be Mega wedding ever witnessed by Telugu film industry says Tollywood circles. Ram Charan Teja son of Mega star Chiranjeevi is getting married to Upsana the granddaughter of Pratap C Reddy of Apollo Hospitals. The engagement ceremony of Upasana & Ram Charan was slated for the 1st of December’2011 and is being meticulously planned in a grand manner by the Kamineni Family.

The venue is the sprawling farm house TEMPLE TREES of the Kamineni Family near Himayath Sagar, Hyderabad. Pawan Kalyan has accompanied Ram Charan Teja to the Temple Tree resorts where the engagement venue is scheduled in his brand new Mercedes Benz SUV. Temple Trees Farms was shining with superb lighting and flowers from various countries were specially brought to decorate the stage. Huge sets were erected and the engagement was done in never before never after way.

According to tradition, the function is being organized by the bride’s family. A popular event management company CHOICE ENTERTAINMENT from Delhi has designed the theme and is overseeing the arrangements. The setting would be elegant and spectacular. Floral decoration would be a treat according to inside sources. Huge consignments of exotic flowers are being brought by air from Thailand. Skilled decorators from Bangkok have been flown in. Expert interior designers are working relentlessly to give finishing touches to the setting. As the venue is lined by greenery, special theme lights are being arranged to illuminate the location. Top class photographers and videographers are pressed into service to capture the magic moments. Food would be a connoisseur’s delight too. A dress rehearsal of the event is being held twice in the run up to the event to make sure the d-day program a picture perfect event.

Despite the elaborate arrangements, very limited number of guests, relatives from both families and very close family friends are only being invited. A separate get together to celebrate the occasion with the Fans of Sri.Chiranjeevi family is being planned at a later date.

Both the families performed a special pooja on 30^th Nov morning to mark the auspicious occasion, at the temple in premises of the Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospitals, as is the tradition of the Kamineni Family. Upasana has also performed a special pooja at the Domakonda Ancestral home as per their tradition.

Charan wears massy costumes in Raccha

Folks, you will not expect Ram Charan to wear colorful costumes in Raccha.  Unlike in his previous films, Raccha will portray the look of a mass hero in his next.  The Sampath Nandi-directed film will present Cherry in a never-seen-before get-up.

What is surprising is that its costume designer Ravi Kumar bought the apparel from some shops in centres like Kacheguda in Hyderabad and worked on them to create new designs for the hero.

The actor's look in the film has been carefully kept under the wraps for obvious reasons.  Currently shot in China, the film has a remix version of the Vana Vana number from Gang Leader.

The hitherto classy actor will sport an irreverent look in Raccha.  This makes it quite interesting as well as curious.

Ram Charan-VV Vinayak film launched

Maverick director VV Vinayak’s new film with Mega Power Star Ram Charan was launched today early morning at Annapurna Studios. The event was graced by Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Mrs Surekha Chiranjeevi, Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Allu Aravind, Dr Brahmanandam, Rajamouli, Rama Rajamouli, K Raghavendra Rao, Srinu Vaitla, Sampath Nandi, NV Prasad, Bellamkonda Suresh, Shyam Prasad Reddy, B Gopal, S Gopal Reddy, MS Narayana, Raja Ravindra, etc.

Chiranjeevi directed the muhurtham shot on Ram Charan, whicle Mrs Surekha Chiranjeevi sounded the clap. Veteran Director K Raghavendra Rao switched on the camera.

Speaking on the occasion, VV Vinayak told that the movie is a romantic action entertainer. The film revolves around a boy who fights hard to fulfill his father’s ambition. This is production number 6 for Universal Media banner. Dannaiah is the producer of the movie. Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady. The makers are yet to finalise the second heroine of the film. Akula Shiva has penned the script and Kona Venkat is the dialogue writer.

Ram Charan Racha release date

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s upcoming film Racha is currently shooting at Annapurna 7 acres. The unit is canning Chiranjeevi’s popular chartbuster on the lead pair. Mani Sharma has scored the music of the film. Sampath Nandi is the director and the film is produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain. Ram Charan is sporting six pack abs with rugged look which reminds us the look of Chiranjeevi in Gang Leader in this movie.

Tamanna is romancing Ram Charan for the first time in her career. Our sources claim that the movie is out of Pongal race and the latest information is that the makers are planning to release the film on February 20 on the occasion of Sivarathri. The shooting of the film will be wrapped up by December end, adds our source.

Charan, Vinayak film launch details

It is already reported by us that Ram Charan is going to do his next film under VV Vinayak’s direction. The formal launch of this film will be done on this Wednesday with a puja ceremony. DVV Danaiah will produce this film.

Kajal Agarwal is roped in as the female lead in this film. There will be another heroine in it and she is yet to be finalized. Akula Shiva is providing the script for this film. It is an out and out commercial entertainer. Kona Venkat is writing the dialogues for it.

This film’s regular shoot will start in January and it will be ready for release by August. After completing Racha, Ram Charan will start another film and that is produced by Dil Raju under Paidipalli Vamsi direction.

Vana Vana remix is terrific says Ram Charan

Ram Charan is enjoying every moment in doing the remix of his father’s super hit song Vana Vana velluvaye in Racha. The song is currently being shot in the sets in Hyderabad. Charan and Tamanna are dancing under the choreography of Shobi master.

Ram Charan said that the song is looking terrific and his fans would definitely love it on screen. “It’s a freezing wet sexy song... Havin lots hot masala chai's and re-living dad's memories. Feels amazing,” he added.

Charan danced for Bangaru Kodipetta song in Magadheera and that was a huge hit. Mega fans would expect this film to be a good hit making it a sentiment for Charan to remix his father’s songs very often.

Ram Charan-Upasana engagement venue changed

The latest update is that the engagement venue of Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni has been changed from Domakonda Fort. According to our sources, the engagement ceremony is likely to take place at Upasana’s farm house near Chilkur Balaji Temple on December 1.

Though the reason for the change is not known, our sources hint that the elders of the family are planning to host a grand reception at the Domakonda fort instead of engagement. We are guessing that the pending works at the place are not completed as yet.

Recently, Chiranjeevi couple invited Governor Narasimhan for the engagement ceremony. They are going to extend invitations to several celebrities of Tollywood soon after Ram Charan returns from Dharmashala.

Dhoom type stunts in Ram Charan Racha

As per latest reports, Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s forthcoming mass entertainer Racha will have high octane action episodes on the lines of Bollywood film Dhoom. It is learnt that Allan-Amin who earlier worked for Dhoom series, Race and other Bollywood films are composing action episodes for Racha.

Recently, the film has completed its schedule in Goa where the unit has shot a race scene on Ram Charan and villain ‘Rangam’ Ajmal.  According to our sources, the scene came out really well and will look super stylish on screen. Ram Charan is donning an out and out mass role in this film. Sampath Nandi is directing the film on Mega Supergood Films banner.

The makers are planning to release the film on January 26.

Ram Charan’s upcoming film Racha shooting is going on at a brisk pace. The makers are aiming for Pongal release and hence they have been working for long hours to ensure that the film is complete in time. Tamanna is the heroine in this film and Rangam fame Ajmal is playing the villain.

Lucky Cherry escapes unhurt

 A lucky Ram Charan escaped unhurt in what could have been a deadly accident while shooting for his forthcoming film Raccha in Goa.  Today morning, the shoot began well on a high note with Alan Amin, the fight master, had put everything in place for an action sequence which involved Charan's car to cross the railway track.

As ill-fate would have it, the cable equipment fixed to the train to support its controlled movement got cut off.  As a result, the train came ramming into the car.  Luckily, Charan drove away and escaped unhurt.

The incident reportedly left those present on the set shocked.

Ram Charan's "Racha" gets one more remix song for Sankranti.......

Mega Power Star Ram Charan is busy shooting for his upcoming film titled Racha. The film is produced by Paras Jain and NV Prasad under Mega Supergood Films banner. Voluptuous beauty Tamanna is playing female lead in this racy mass entertainer.

Right now the interval fight sequence of the film is being shot at Hyderabad. Sampath Nandi of Evvaraina Eppudaina fame is directing this big ticket film. Mani Sharma is scoring music for this mass entertainer. Ram Charan’s dialogue delivery, looks and histrionics are different in this movie.

 Ram Charan is done with his brief romance with Polo and back to work.  Raccha's shooting in Hyderabad's aluminium factory is going at a brisk pace.  The shoot will continue till October 6.  Tamannah and Brahmanandam are participating in this schedule.

After this crucial schedule, the unit will move to China where Raccha will be shot for most part in the backdrop of some historical monuments and the Great Wall of China there.  Being directed by Sampath Nandi, the film is music-directed by Mani Sharma.

Expectations from Mani Sharma are high.  It is because it is said that the makers have asked him to give them the best tunes in his musical bank for the film.  It only helps that the Melody Brahman, as Mani Sharma is fondly called, has been known for lending riveting tunes to films starring big heroes.

Mani's tunes for Chirutha were a rage.  It is hoped that he will repeat the feat for this Charan movie also.

Ram Charan to venture Bollywood

 

A widely-circulated English-language daily has broken the story about Ram Charan's Bollywood plans.  According to the newspaper, Charan is keen on acting in the Hindi remake of the 1973 blockbuster Zanjeer.  The son of Telugu Megastar, who is fondly called as Mega Power Star, will reprise the role of the yesteryear Hindi film Megastar Amitabh Bacchan in the movie.

To top it all, Charan wants to produce the movie himself.  He is, thus, in negotiations with the son of Prakash Mehra, who directed and co-produced the movie.  It is not just Charan but many parties are approaching Mehra's son for the rights of the movie, the newspaper quotes him as saying.

Well, it is premature to conclude that it will be mana Cherry who will finally bag the rights.  That said, given his big ambitions and the support of his film elders at home (read Chiru and Allu Aravind), he may well end up successfully winning the rights.  Cherry's Bollywood plans, if anything, are a big news.  He is young in Telugu, with just 3 years of experience, but he is ambitious to eye Bollywood.

Given that the actor created a rage with his 'Magadheera' act, he might well impress everyone with the role of an angry young man in Hindi too.

Ram Charan to get engaged to Upasana at Domakonda

Kamineni Umapati Rao is the maternal grandfather of Upasana, the prospective bride of Mega Power Star Ram Charan.

Upasana�s parents Anil Kamineni and Sobha Reddy are the current heirs of Domakonda Gadi Samsthan. Domakonda is a heritage centre near Nizamabad town and hence her family had decided to hold the engagement of the would- be couple there.

As per the information available, the engagement of Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni would be held at Domakonda in December. Umapati Rao usually spends two days every year in that place as he owned it and offer prayers to Lord Siva during Maha Shivaratri festival days with his entire family. Since his granddaughter getting engaged there, he reportedly instructed his people to take up some repair works to the house and spruce it tastefully in a rich manner.

All the arrangements for the engagement of the prospective bride and groom had already started. The temple nearby was dedicated to Lord Shiva and it was built in such a way to reflect the Kakatiyan style of architecture and as per the scriptures, the temple was built in Kakatiyan Era.

Ramcharan in a recent post on twitter say "i officially confirm to my twitter fans also that Upasna is the chosen one for me and we together need all ur good wishes..."

Charan will be guest in my 150th film: Chiru says.......

If at all Chiranjeevi acts in a film, which will be his 150th, Ram Charan will make a guest appearance for sure.  The Megastar assures that just as he appeared in a guest role in Magadheera opposite his son, his son is going to be seen in such special role in his next film (whenever it is made). The actor reveals that he participates in a story sitting session before a subject is okayed by Charan.  He may be a full-time politician now, but he still has a great passion for acting.  The veteran actor often gets so immersed in the story being narrated that he finds himself imagining in the role (of Charan) and starts asking questions about how he can act in the scenes. He soon comes out of the trance and laughs away. The Megastar's attitude and dedication to acting is revealed in this anecdote that he has shared with the world.  They rightly say, thus, Chiranjeevi may be a politician by profession now, but he's still an actor at soul.

Rachcha Team rushes to China.........

Ram Charan's Rachcha is done with the long schedule at Bangkok and is currently canning in China.  The film, being directed by Sampath Nandi, sees Cherry pairing up with Tamanna.

Like countless Telugu films, the film was shot in Bangkok for several days.  During this schedule, action scenes were shot on Cherry and the villains.  The same were choreographed by the talented duo, Ram and Lakshman.

It is quite rare to see Telugu films shot in China.  Since the country is over-crowded, it doesn't entice the filmmakers much.  However, world-famous sites like the Great Wall of China have long attracted some directors from time to time.  It seems Raccha's makers too are enamoured of the site.

It will be quite interesting to see Cherry, with the Great Wall in the backdrop in Rachcha.

There is some good news. Apparently the gupshup doing the rounds is that actor Ram Charan Teja is all set to make a commitment and get engaged to long-time love Upasana Kamineni.

Though sources confirm that the Ram Charan Teja, fondly called Cherry, is madly in love with the girl, who hails from an affluent family and owns her own health magazine, Ram Charan remains mum on the issue and hasn't shed light on the current state of 'affairs'.

Who is Upasana?

The 23-year-old grand-daughter of Prathap Reddy has carved her own niche and her pet project, launched last year, is the health and lifestyle publication, B+ve. “Most of us have become part of the rat race, leading to various physical and psychological disorders. The magazine is an effort to throw light on these issues and suggest ways to fight them in our day-to-day life,” she explains.

Her animal farm at her home in Hyderabad - that already houses four rescued “tonga” horses, eight donkeys and four abused cows rescued from the slaughter. Kamineni’s association with Blue Cross brought her close to the cause of these animals. She helped them find shelter.

Kamineni, however, is extremely cautious of what she eats, and spends an hour in the afternoon kickboxing at the hospital gym. “I fought obesity through my school and university years and I’m not done yet. To make myself feel better, I would drown my grief in shopping, Till it hit me that I must make drastic lifestyle changes,” she says.
