There is some good news. Apparently the gupshup doing the rounds is that actor Ram Charan Teja is all set to make a commitment and get engaged to long-time love Upasana Kamineni.
Though sources confirm that the Ram Charan Teja, fondly called Cherry, is madly in love with the girl, who hails from an affluent family and owns her own health magazine, Ram Charan remains mum on the issue and hasn't shed light on the current state of 'affairs'.

Upasna Kamineni, Dr Prathap C Reddy’s grand-daughter, is all set to make a commitment and get engaged to long-time love Ram Charan Tej. Sources inform us that the two have known each other for a long time now and Chiranjeevi is likely to announce the engagement and marriage plans on his birthday, August 22.
The engagement is likely to happen in November. Ram Charan and Upasana, a leading the philanthropic wing of Apollo Group, are classmates during their schooling in Chennai and are said to be in love since 5 years.
After being tight-lipped for more than a year, Ram Charan’s family has finally decided to tell the world that their scion will tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend.
Sources say that, that Ram Charan wanted to postpone his marriage for few years but Chiranjeevi suggested him to tie the knot, as he felt that this is the right time for wedding. It may be mentioned that Chiru recently said at the wedding reception of his nephew Allu Arjun that his son Ram Charan may not give him a chance to select the bride for him. Who is Upasana?
The 23-year-old grand-daughter of Prathap Reddy has carved her own niche and her pet project, launched last year, is the health and lifestyle publication, B+ve. “Most of us have become part of the rat race, leading to various physical and psychological disorders. The magazine is an effort to throw light on these issues and suggest ways to fight them in our day-to-day life,” she explains.
Her animal farm at her home in Hyderabad - that already houses four rescued “tonga” horses, eight donkeys and four abused cows rescued from the slaughter. Kamineni’s association with Blue Cross brought her close to the cause of these animals. She helped them find shelter.
Kamineni, however, is extremely cautious of what she eats, and spends an hour in the afternoon kickboxing at the hospital gym. “I fought obesity through my school and university years and I’m not done yet. To make myself feel better, I would drown my grief in shopping, Till it hit me that I must make drastic lifestyle changes,” she says.
