Director Dharani had directed commercial hit films Dhil and Dhool which had Vikram in the lead role. Now after a long interval Vikram and Dharani are joining hands once again.
After Deiva Thirumagal, Vikram is acting in the film Raja Pattai directed by Suseendran and in the film Karikalan. Now Dharani is directing a film titled Osthi which has Simbhu in the lead role. This film is the remake of the super hit Hindi film Dabangg. Dharani after completing this film will commence the shooting of the film which has Vikram in the lead role.
The film is to commence in mid of 2012. Vikram will also simultaneously act in the film directed by Vijay who directed Deiva Thirumagal. Apart from this Vikram will also act in a film directed by Bala.
