Bellamkonda Suresh is producing a movie titled Ganga-The Bodyguard, which features Victory Venkatesh and Trisha in the lead roles. The film is the remake of Malayalam film Bodyguard directed by Siddique. Gopichand Malineni is the director. The film’s shooting is completed and the makers are planning to release it in November ending.
As per reports, the film’s audio will be launched on November 5 amidst huge fanfare in Hyderabad. Saloni is playing an important role in this film. Music director Thaman stated that the album offers feel good songs on the lines of his Tamil film Eeram (Vaishali).
This is a remake of Bodyguard which was originally made in Malayalam and was a runaway hit. Later it was remade into Tamil as Kavalan and Hindi as Bodyguard. Tamil version was ended up as an average fare and Hindi version was a blockbuster commercially.
This script is tailor made for Venkatesh. Trisha plays the female lead and Saloni plays a key role. Venkatesh has been delivering only average movies in the recent past. His fans are expecting this film to be a super hit.
Music director Thaman who is riding high with the success of Dookudu is awaiting his next release Bodyguard, starring Venkatesh. Speaking about the music of Bodyguard, Thaman stated that this is a feel good album. He compared this music to his Eeram (Vaishali) album. He thanked director Gopichand Malineni for extracting great stuff from him.
Thaman is scoring music to Osthi, Tamil remake of Dabangg. He is done with both these movies and has now started working on The Businessman tunes. The Businessman is Mahesh Babu’s next movie under Puri Jagannadh direction.
