Tollywood is going to miss a notable straight release for this Diwali. The films which were previously slated for Diwali release are being pushed back to later dates. Mogudu, which seemed to be a sure shot Diwali release, was postponed to November and Sri Rama Rajyam too is scheduled for November release.
With straight films backing out of race, it is advantage for dubbed film 7th Sense. This film has Suriya in the lead and is directed by Murugadoss. High expectations are riding on this film and it will surely have a good response in Telugu too.
Having no competition from the straight releases would do a world of good to 7th Sense. There is Shahrukh Khan’s film Ra.One which is also being dubbed in Telugu with the same name. This film too is scheduled for Diwali release.
