Ranbir & Imran to star in 'Andaz Apna Apna' remake

At last the wait is finally over and the b-town latest foe turned friends Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan will come together for the classic comedy 'Andaz Apna Apna' remake.

The 1994 comedy helmed by Raj kumar santoshi starred B-town best pals Aamir Khan and Salman Khan.

The 2011 version will also be helmed by Santoshi and it will be titled 'Pasand Apni Apni'. A couple of meetings are held and some more is expected in near future between them regarding their characters.

Those who have seen the flick will agree that Aamir enjoyed more footage then Salman in the flick and Santoshi is planning to give Aamir's role to Ranbir. Imran is okay with it as he does not want to step in his mamu jan Aamir's shoes and attract unnecessary comparisons but he is demanding equal footage for both in the remake.

The leading ladies are not being thought at this stage as the nod of both the heartthrobs of bollywood Ranbir and Imran is still to come...

Shahrukh Khan's "Ra.One" becomes racy.....

Stories about his super hero avatar and his 'Chammak Challo' are being heard around these days. The keenly awaited sci-fic flick of Shahrukh Khan 'Ra.One' is gearing up to promote itself in every big possible way.

Birdies shared that the film is planning to make the Formula One track as a promotion platform. And for this Shahrukh is said to be thinking of collaborating with the Formula 1 Airtel Grand Prix of India, which is will kick-start in Noida in October.

That's not all.... Birdies added to reveal that the King Khan has even planned to rope in Formula One racer Michael Schumacher to drive a car having the name 'Ra.One' on it! Looks like in order to create a brand out of the movie Shahrukh is keen to make the cars participating in the Grand Prix to sport 'Ra.One' logos.

After super-success 'Singham', Kajal eyes Bollywood big time

With a super-successful run that 'Singham' has been enjoying for last four weeks, this Ajay Devgn starrer is now all set to cross the 100 crores mark. While for Ajay this is now his biggest solo superhit till date, it is also a big occasion for the film's leading lady Kajal Aggarwal who has hit a six with her very first Bollywood outing. DOSTANA 2

This time its Katrina Kaif instead of Priyanka Chopra as Neha (Priyanka Chopra’s character) was shown as moving on with Bobby Deol’s character in the prequel. Though the sequel of the original seems to be in an unstable position over its star cast as well as production team, the film is still very much on Karan Johar’s radar.

DOUBLE DHAMAAL

It is a sequence of the famous comedy flick ‘Dhamaal’that showed up in year 2007. The cast is same but this time includes female stars too with Kangna Ranaut and Mallika Sherwat adding up to the hotness quotient of the film this time. It is going to hit the cinemas on June 24!! The ‘Double Dhamaal’ trailer is garnering a lot of laughs for the costumes, jokes and get-ups and also the four boys' unique dialogues as seen in the trailers.

MUNNABHAI CHALE AMERICA

This film is a follow-up to the hit Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi series ‘Munnabhai MBBS’, ‘Lago Raho Munnabhai’. But the shooting of the film has been getting delayed for over 2 years now. Firstly, the movie was stopped as Sanjay Dutt ended up in jail and then Arshad Warsi got busy with films like ‘Double Dhamaal’, ‘Ishqiya 2’ and ‘Golmaal 4’.

DHOOM 3

After John Abraham in Dhoom and Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2, Aamir Khan is the new face of evil with an element of unbelievable charm in Dhoom 3 going on the floors by the end of 2011 and will be released by Dec. 2012. As per the rumors, there is no Katrina, Deepika, or a Priyanka in this film. Aditya Chopra has confirmed that it’s going to be a newcomer this time.

DON 2

Don 2 is the sequel to the already made remake of Don which was released in 2006(it was a remake of ‘Don’ starring Amitabh Bachchan of 1978). ‘Don 2: The Chase Continues’ includes the previous cast except Arjun Rampal and including Om Puri and Lara Dutta this time. 

Aamir Khan not in Munnabhai.

Aamir Khan simply laughed at the news that he is doing next Munnabhai series. He said that he is not approached for Munnabhai with a smile. So, keep the rumour mills flying high with the news, and lets see original Munna will be in Munnabhai or someone new will be taken?

Amir Khan, Sharman Joshi in 'Munnabhai Chale Amerika'

After 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S' and 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' movies another sequel coming from Vidhu Vinod Chopra production house. This time the main lead characters Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi not appearing in 3rd part 'Munnabhai Chale Amerika'. According to Bollywood gossips Amir Khan, Sharman Joshi will do main roles, director Rajkumar Hirani may not direct this movie.

Gossip mills are running all time high. News is that the original Munnabhai-Circuit jodi is being replaced, and Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi are being considered to fill their shoes! News is not confirmed as if now.  Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi were a part of the successful Munnabhai franchise that has had two releases till date - Munnabhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munnabhai. The teaser of the third too - Munnabhai Chale Amrika - has already been shot with Dutt and Warsi, however the lack of a good script has led to the project being on hold.

If sources are to be believed, it's whilst the shooting of '3 Idiots' that Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra considered the option of casting Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi as Munnabhai and Circuit. The makers, apparently, thought that it would bring about a fresh change to the image and the franchise. In fact, we are told that Aamir was excited about the idea and was game if the script was good enough.

Well, let's wait and watch how this exactly works out for all in the industry, and if it works out at all in the first place. More news regarding this movie will announce soon.

Starting his career as a child actor in his uncle Nasir Hussain's film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), Khan began his professional career eleven years later with Holi (1984) and had his first commercial success with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988). He received his first National Film Award (Special Jury Award) for his role in the film Raakh (1989). After seven previous nominations during the 1980s and 1990s, Khan received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in the major grosser Raja Hindustani (1996) and later earned his second Best Actor award for his performance in the Academy Award-nominated Lagaan, which also marked the debut of his own production company.

Following a four-year break from acting, Khan made his comeback playing the title role in the historical Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005), and later won a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his role in Rang De Basanti (2006). The following year, he made his directorial debut with Taare Zameen Par, for which he received a Filmfare Award for Best Director. This was followed by Ghajini (2008), which became the highest grossing film of that year, and 3 Idiots (2009), which became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all-time, unadjusted for inflation. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010 for his contributions towards the arts.

Khan was born in Bandra's Holy Family Hospital, Mumbai, India, to a Muslim family that has been actively involved in the Indian motion picture industry for several decades. His father, Tahir Hussain, was a film producer while his uncle, Nasir Hussain, was a film producer as well as a director and an actor. His family on his father´s side are originally from Herat, Afghanistan.He is a descendant of the scholar and politician Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and a second cousin to former Chairperson of Rajya Sabha Dr Najma Heptullah.

 Khan married Reena Dutta, who had a small part in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, on April 18, 1986. They have two children, a son named Junaid and a daughter, Ira. Reena was involved briefly in Khan's career when she worked as a producer for Lagaan. In December 2002, Khan filed for divorce, ending the 15-year marriage. Reena took custody of both children. On 28 December 2005, Khan married Kiran Rao who had been an assistant director to Ashutosh Gowariker during the filming of Lagaan.

Though nominated many times, Khan does not attend any Indian film award ceremony as he feels "Indian film awards lack credibility". In 2007, Khan was invited to have a wax imitation of himself put on display at Madame Tussauds in London. However, Khan declined stating that, "It's not important to me... people will see my films if they want to. Also, I cannot deal with so many things, I have bandwidth only for that much". In 2007, Khan lost a custody battle for his younger brother Faisal to their father, Tahir Hussain.  His father passed away on 2 February 2010.

In a 2009 interview, Khan states that he tends to take an independent approach to the world of filmmaking, noting that he does not "do different things; I try to do it in a different manner. I think every person should follow his/her dream and try and make it possible to create an ability to achieve it backed by its practicality." He has also indicated that he is more interested in the process of filmmaking than in the end result: "For me, the process is more important, more joyful. I would like to have my entire concentration on the process right from the first step." When asked about his role model, he stated, "Gandhiji is one person who inspires me!"
