Aamir Khan spotted in new look

Since last few months, Aamir Khan has been sporting a thick moustache that is his look in his forthcoming action thriller ‘Dhuaan’ directed by Reema Kagti in which he plays the role of a police officer. He also underwent physical training to prepare his body by toning his muscles to justify his look and character in the film. And now that the film is in its final shooting stage, Aamir has bought a twist in tale as he was recently sported in a French beard with a shade of grey. The salt-pepper beard was complimented with short and finely combed gel-hair. We wonder if the Aamir’s film like the K-soap operas also takes an age leap. Well we will let Aamir disclose the further mystery over the look.

The film apart from Aamir stars Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji and is expected to release in the first week of January 2012.

Aamir in B-wood’s ‘Three Musketeers’ movie????

Author Alexandre Dumas’ popular novel ’Three Musketeers’ is likely to be turned into a film in Hindi, and the buzz is that several top stars will be part of it.

PVR Pictures is said to be in talks with Summit Entertainment, the distributors of the Hollywood film ’The Three Musketeers’, for the Hindi remake and reportedly they are considering Aamir Khan and Priyanka Chopra to play important roles.

"They are considering casting Aamir as the Duke of Buckingham and Priyanka as Milady de Winter, who is one of the villains in the film. But the actors to play the three musketeers are still not known," a source revealed.

’Three Musketeers’, considered a literary classic, follows Porthos, Athos and Aramis who served the king of France as his best musketeers. After discovering an evil conspiracy to overthrow the king, the trio come across a young, aspiring hero, D’Artagnan, and take him under their wing. Together, the four embark on a mission to bust the plot that not only threatens the crown, but the future of Europe itself.(IANS)

Aamir Khan simply laughed at the news that he is doing next Munnabhai series. He said that he is not approached for Munnabhai with a smile. So, keep the rumour mills flying high with the news, and lets see original Munna will be in Munnabhai or someone new will be taken?

Amir Khan, Sharman Joshi in 'Munnabhai Chale Amerika'

After 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S' and 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' movies another sequel coming from Vidhu Vinod Chopra production house. This time the main lead characters Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi not appearing in 3rd part 'Munnabhai Chale Amerika'. According to Bollywood gossips Amir Khan, Sharman Joshi will do main roles, director Rajkumar Hirani may not direct this movie.

Gossip mills are running all time high. News is that the original Munnabhai-Circuit jodi is being replaced, and Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi are being considered to fill their shoes! News is not confirmed as if now.  Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi were a part of the successful Munnabhai franchise that has had two releases till date - Munnabhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munnabhai. The teaser of the third too - Munnabhai Chale Amrika - has already been shot with Dutt and Warsi, however the lack of a good script has led to the project being on hold.

If sources are to be believed, it's whilst the shooting of '3 Idiots' that Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra considered the option of casting Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi as Munnabhai and Circuit. The makers, apparently, thought that it would bring about a fresh change to the image and the franchise. In fact, we are told that Aamir was excited about the idea and was game if the script was good enough.

Well, let's wait and watch how this exactly works out for all in the industry, and if it works out at all in the first place. More news regarding this movie will announce soon.

Starting his career as a child actor in his uncle Nasir Hussain's film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), Khan began his professional career eleven years later with Holi (1984) and had his first commercial success with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988). He received his first National Film Award (Special Jury Award) for his role in the film Raakh (1989). After seven previous nominations during the 1980s and 1990s, Khan received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in the major grosser Raja Hindustani (1996) and later earned his second Best Actor award for his performance in the Academy Award-nominated Lagaan, which also marked the debut of his own production company.

Following a four-year break from acting, Khan made his comeback playing the title role in the historical Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005), and later won a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his role in Rang De Basanti (2006). The following year, he made his directorial debut with Taare Zameen Par, for which he received a Filmfare Award for Best Director. This was followed by Ghajini (2008), which became the highest grossing film of that year, and 3 Idiots (2009), which became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all-time, unadjusted for inflation. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010 for his contributions towards the arts.

Khan was born in Bandra's Holy Family Hospital, Mumbai, India, to a Muslim family that has been actively involved in the Indian motion picture industry for several decades. His father, Tahir Hussain, was a film producer while his uncle, Nasir Hussain, was a film producer as well as a director and an actor. His family on his father´s side are originally from Herat, Afghanistan.He is a descendant of the scholar and politician Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and a second cousin to former Chairperson of Rajya Sabha Dr Najma Heptullah.

 Khan married Reena Dutta, who had a small part in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, on April 18, 1986. They have two children, a son named Junaid and a daughter, Ira. Reena was involved briefly in Khan's career when she worked as a producer for Lagaan. In December 2002, Khan filed for divorce, ending the 15-year marriage. Reena took custody of both children. On 28 December 2005, Khan married Kiran Rao who had been an assistant director to Ashutosh Gowariker during the filming of Lagaan.

Though nominated many times, Khan does not attend any Indian film award ceremony as he feels "Indian film awards lack credibility". In 2007, Khan was invited to have a wax imitation of himself put on display at Madame Tussauds in London. However, Khan declined stating that, "It's not important to me... people will see my films if they want to. Also, I cannot deal with so many things, I have bandwidth only for that much". In 2007, Khan lost a custody battle for his younger brother Faisal to their father, Tahir Hussain.  His father passed away on 2 February 2010.

In a 2009 interview, Khan states that he tends to take an independent approach to the world of filmmaking, noting that he does not "do different things; I try to do it in a different manner. I think every person should follow his/her dream and try and make it possible to create an ability to achieve it backed by its practicality." He has also indicated that he is more interested in the process of filmmaking than in the end result: "For me, the process is more important, more joyful. I would like to have my entire concentration on the process right from the first step." When asked about his role model, he stated, "Gandhiji is one person who inspires me!"
