Kochadaiyan:
Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyan would be made using motion capturing technology. A model will be made based on Rajinikanth’s movement and the miniature version would be used to shoot the movie. Making movie in this way would not harm Rajinikanth’s health for it demands very little effort from him.
Thupakki:
Ilayathalapathy vijay, film maker A.R murugadoss and ace lens man santhosh sivan are bonding big time in Mumbai at the shooting locale of Thuppakki. Kajal Agarwal and Harris Jayaraj joined in "Thuppakki".Right now shooting going on in a various place of Mumbai East.1st schedule will be over by this month end. We hope A.R.Murugadass will give a different film for ilayathalapathy. Murugadoss has tweeted about Vijay in an indirect manner saying: wow, he is amazing! What a timing sense! Stylish and handsome! .Santhosh sivan posted on his micro blogging site- Vijay is awesome.
Dhanush to director B’wood movie!!!!!
Dhanush is all set to start his directorial venture in Hindi next year. The actor has confirmed this. He says, 'I dream of directing a Bollywood film one day. I have short-listed some actors/actresses in my mind, but it's too early to talk about it. I'll start work on it by mid next year.'
Mugamoodi:
Jeeva and Narain learn martial arts for director Mysskin’s Mugamoodi. The shooting began in and around Chennai for this mega project. Pooja Hegde will be seen romancing Jeeva in the movie. The movie will be made using state-of-the-art technology. Mysskin is planning a release on 1 May, 2012 as the post production work will take a long time.
Nanban:
Nanban’s movie’s climax has been modified to match the audience of South – says various sources. The news is not yet confirmed by the team Nanaban. Nanban is to hit the screens for Pongal and audio launch is on 23rd of this month. When asked Vijay about the Nanban, he said “I’m happy and thrilled at the way Nanban has shaped up. And Shankar is an excellent actor. He can act well and has good timing. I consider myself lucky to have acted in Shankar's direction. I wanted to work with him for a very long time. He is one of the best directors I have worked with.”
Nanban is a remake of Hindi hit three idiots and Vijay does the role played by Aamir Khan in the original. Nanban has Vijay, Ileana, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and SJ Suryah. Cinematography by manoj Parmahamsa and Music composed by Harris Jayaraj.
Surya in the role of Big B:
'Kaun Banega Crorepati' very famous Hindi reality show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan is to be remade in Tamil Version by Vijay TV titled as 'Kodeeswaran'. The hot news is that Surya will be hosting the show. KBC has a great rage till now. Hope that magic will be re-created in Tamil too.
Maatran:
Surya ongoing project Maatran is being shooted in many Balkan countries. Director of the movie, K V Anand says, ' We shot in countries like Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Albania, and Macedonia for the first time and it was a beautiful experience shooting in such fresh places'. A major portion of the shooting has been completed except for some sequences. Hope the movie remains a visual teat too…

Dec 23, Kollywood’s hectic day
December 23 will be a hectic day in Tamil cinema with a flurry of activities. Two films are slated for release on the day - Vikram's Rajapattai and Sharukh Khan and Priyanka in Don 2. With two biggie’s releases, the clash at the box office sounds interesting.
Meanwhile on the same day two audio launches are planned. They are Vijay's Nanban directed by Shankar and Dhanush's '3'.Nanban audio launch is taking place in Coimbatore while '3' audio will be released in Chennai. Nanban's audio will be unveiled during Harris Jayaraj's music concert, On the Edge. Aishwarya Dhanush's '3' audio is to be launched by Sony Music in Chennai.
