Bollywood superstar Shahrukh is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Don 2’ which is the sequel of ‘Don’ that came in 2007. However apart from promoting the film SRK is going out of his way to spread the words of praise in the favor of film’s antagonist Nawab Shah. The superstar recently went gaga over the villain’s good looks and his impeccable acting skills.
SRK in one of the promotional events stated, “He has gorgeous drop-dead good looks.” He then went on to compare the baddie with his good friend Arjun Rampal who played a villain in his last release ‘Ra.One’. “After Arjun Rampal in ‘Ra.One’, Nawab Shah will be another villain whose work will be appreciated and loved by one and all.” While SRK is comparing the two protagonists from his two films we hope the reviews of the film ‘Don 2’ are not similar to ‘Ra.One’ that came under a lot of flak.
Shah Rukh Khan took the unconventional route to commence his career when he did out of the league films and did the role of antagonists in his films like ‘Darr’ and ‘Anjaam’. He did it again when he starred in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Don’. The star, who is gearing up for the release of ‘Don 2’ a sequel to the remake, is going bonkers on playing the grey character.
SRK had recently quoted that “When I am good, am good but when I am bad am better”. And yet again he has confessed that he always loved playing the villainous characters. He recently in his interview mentioned his inclination and fondness towards playing a baddie in ‘Don 2’. He stated, “Sometimes it is more fun to play the villain and in Don 2 we have just done that!!” says the King Khan.
He says when they remade the original there was a lot of pressure and couldn’t experiment much but with the sequel they had the opportunity to make the central character meaner. He believed people too love watching the baddies in the film, “People are fascinated by a bad character. Perhaps it is because there is a bad side in each one of us”.
