It has been a long time since the public caught a glimpse of Superstar Rajinikanth. Right from the time the matinee idol fell sick and was hospitalized which led him to fly to Singapore for further treatment, fans and well wishers of the Superstar have been longing to have a look at him as he back and resting at his farmhouse in Chennai.
The fans were in for a celebration when they heard that KS Ravikumar -Rajinikanth magnum opus 'Rana' would go on floors from the beginning of October. There are now reports that the director has already begun filming some portions with the heroine Deepika Padukone and other stars.
Now it seems like Rajini fans will be able to get a glimpse of their Superstar even before the actor gets set to don the greasepaint for 'Rana.' KS Ravikumar's daughter's wedding reception will take place at a posh Chennai hotel on September 2 and sources close to the star as well as the director believe that the Superstar will grace the occasion.
Now if that happens, it will be the first ever public appearance Rajinikanth will be making after his return to Chennai post treatment! We are sure the shutterbugs will be present at the venue poised with their cameras to catch a glimpse of Rajinikanth who is now fit and fine and looking forward to shoot for 'Rana.'
