Osthi - First Look

Osthi (Tamil: ஒஸ்தி) is an upcoming Indian Tamil action film directed by S. Dharani, starring Silambarasan in the lead role. A remake of the 2010 blockbuster Hindi film Dabangg, directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap and written by Dileep Shukla. This will feature Githan Ramesh, Bengali actress Richa Gangopadhyay, in her Tamil debut, Sonu Sood, reprising his role from the original, Nizhalgal Ravi and Revathi in supporting roles. The pooja was held at AVM studios in Chennai on May 10, 2011 to officially launch the film

Osthi is said to wrap up entire shooting of the film by August 5th.Director Dharani is in fast pace to finish the shooting of Osthi film. Simbhu's Osthi movie is in lines to be get released by this Diwali.The distributors are also getting in que to bag the rights of the film. Osthi movie is being made with a budget of 30 crores and it is noteworthy that big production studios might bag the rights.The trade sources hoping whether Reliance Big Pictures or UTV Entertainment will be bagging the rights of the film. Further officially confirmation to be made regarding this.
