"Mayakkam Enna" is Youthful..........

Dhanush has bagged the coveted National Award from the president. The actor's upcoming film is 'Mayakkam Enna' under brother Selvaraghavan's direction. The first look of 'Mayakkam Enna' which seems like a film celebrating youth. There is a lot of hype surrounding the film more so because it is a brain child of Selvaraghavan.

The film stars Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles. While Dhanush looks his boyish best, his heroine Richa is feminity personified and pretty. But there seems to be some confusion with the film buffs regarding the script, which many think, is a modification of 'Irandam Ulagham.'

Selveraghavan recently came out to clear the air regarding this mix up. He has clearly stated that the Dhanush - Richa starrer 'Mayakkam Enna' is a different script. The director has revealed that the script is not entirely a love story and will be appreciated by the youth.

The music for this film is by GV Prakash Kumar, and Selva is confident that the music of 'Mayakkam Enna' will be a hit at the music charts. (Dhanush is simultaneously working with wife Aishwarya in her debut film as director '3' which sees Dhanush and Shruti Haasan as the lead pair.)

The film has six songs composed by GV Prakash.

• 'Naan Sonnadhum Mazhaivandhucha...' is penned by the megaphone wielder Selvaraghavan and is crooned by Naresh Iyer.
• 'Pirai Thedum...' is one special track as it is sung by GV Prakash along with his fiancé Saindhavi.
• 'Oda Oda Dhooram Korayala...' is penned and crooned by multi-faceted Dhanush.
• 'Ennena Seidhom Ingu...' is penned by Dhanush again and crooned by Harish Raghavendra.
• 'Kadhal En Kadhal...' is another special track as it is crooned by starlet brothers, Selvaraghavan and Dhanush.
• The final one is the Theme music of 'Mayakkam Enna', it may be mentioned all of Selva's films' theme music become a rage among the masses, and expectations on this tune is soaring high.

'Mayakkam Enna'  is said to be feel good one,  featuring  Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles with Sunder Ramu playing second lead. Cinematography is by T Ramii, editing is by Kola Bhaskar and art direction is handled by Kiran. The film is produced by Aum Productions.

It is touted to see a release by September 30, an official announcement of which will be made soon.
